gftp-text software package provides colored FTP client using GLib, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gftp-text
gftp-text is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gftp-text package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gftp-text *
You will get with gftp-text package name, version, architecture and description in a table
